At PBA we know that all work and no play makes for dull employees, so we have a few company sponsored activities throughout the year to keep things interesting, to celebrate, and to give back to the community.
Pink 5K
In the spring, Team Positive Believers Achieve (PBA) participates in the Oak Brook park district’s Pink 5K benefiting Open Arms Breast Cancer Outreach Fund, Hinsdale Hospital Foundation. Our team is usually composed of 25-60+ employees and family members. It’s a great run/walk event and is for a very worthy cause.
Summer Fun
The official start to summer begins when we raffle tickets to the Kane County Cougar baseball games. We also celebrate summer with our annual company picnic, catered by Skuddlebutt’s catering. And no summer would be complete without ice cream day!
Breast Cancer Awareness
In the fall, we observe Breast Cancer Awareness month with raffles, a bake sale, and other events. We collect donations throughout the month with the proceeds benefiting the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation.
Halloween Contest
In the early years of PBA, Halloween was a rather sacred event with employee costume contests and decorations all through the office. We are proud to announce that this fine tradition was resurrected in 2017 with a costume day and a contest to see which department had the best Halloween decorations!!
Annual Christmas Luncheon
The highlight of the winter season is our annual Christmas Holiday Luncheon. Our offices close early and we meet at one of Oak Brook’s finest venues for drinks, lunch, and the ever popular holiday raffle!
Go Red For Women
In February, we raise donations for the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women movement helping to raise awareness of women's heart disease and helping to save more lives.
Bikers Against Child Abuse
PBA makes donations to Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA) to aid in their mission to empower abused children because, as their motto states, "no child deserves to live in fear".
