Enrollment and Eligibility
Enrollment and ongoing eligibility are complex with terms such as open enrollment, waiting periods, dependents, special enrollment periods, etc. PBA’s experts assist with the open enrollment process and the ongoing eligibility once enrolled. Ongoing management of eligible plan members include making changes in accordance with the Plan Document for:
- Change of spouse’s employment/benefits
- Death of a dependent
- Death of a spouse
- Gain or loss of employment
- Legal separation
- Loss of eligibility for coverage as a result of reduction in hours, leave of absence
- Qualified Medical Child Support Orders (QMCSOs).
Using PBA’s Member Portal, it is easy for Plan Sponsor and Members to check their eligibility status and notify PBA of all changes.
